Peter J. Dennis, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Strongsville, Ohio. Born on July 14, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, Peter lived a full and vibrant life that touched many.
Peter's early years were spent in the bustling city of Cleveland, where he was born to the late Richard and June Dennis. Pete was a brother to his siblings, Joe (Lynda), Richard (Lala), Robin, and the late Patricia Manocchio (Cosmo).
Peter is survived by the mother of his 2 children, Susan Spencer. As a loving father, Peter instilled in his children, Penny Manley (Michael) and Steven Dennis, the values of hard work, integrity, and the importance of family. He was a source of strength, guidance, and support for them, always leading by example. His role as a grandfather to Zachary, Corey, Haley, Paige, Savannah, and Sean, and great-grandfather to Brayley, Ariella, Ivory, and Prodigy, was one he cherished deeply. Peter's legacy of kindness and wisdom will undoubtedly live on through them.
Peter's professional life was marked by dedication and excellence. He retired after many years of service at Pipeline Development Company, where his contributions were highly valued. His colleagues knew him as a reliable and committed individual who took pride in his work.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Peter had a passion for the simpler pleasures in life. He was an avid golfer, finding solace and joy on the greens. His love for the sport was only matched by his fondness for crossword puzzles, a pastime that kept his mind sharp and provided endless hours of relaxation.
A Memorial Gathering will be held FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2026 from 3PM-7PM with a Memorial Service to follow at 7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE, OHIO 44136. Interment will be private.
