My childhood memory of Peg was when we were little girls in Cleveland on Courtland Avenue. We lived next door to one another. Her parents, who we called Auntie Wil & Uncle Jake were good friends with my parents, Art and Shirley Rinas. Auntie Wil, Uncle Jake, her Sister Nonnie and Rocco always partied with my parents in our basement. My memory was sitting at the top of the steps and hearing the laughter and fun they always had together. Peg went to school with my sister Bev and I was in the same class as her husband Steve at JMHS. As a toddler, Her sister Noreen also played with Peg, Bev and I. I think I was 6 and Peg was 4 yrs. old,
Both our families went to Puritas Lutheran Church and were actually the first founders and on the cornerstone as the first 35 families to join this church.
Although we lost touch for some years, we remained connected through mutual friends.
She remained strong as she fought her battle with cancer. I admire her strength and faith. God rest her soul as she is now without pain and suffering.
My deepest sympathy to the Gall family and friends. May you keep your special memories of Peg in your heart.
