Pauline Garvey's Obituary
Born October 5th, 1950, Pauline is the daughter of William Adelbert Kish and Catherine (née Gallagher) Kish, a proud native of IRE, a pride that Pauline inherited, honored throughout her life, and nurtured in her children. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tom, her three children and their spouses, Matthew (Staci), Kevin (Kim), and Emily (Ryan) and six grandchildren she adored.
At the end of Pauline's battle with FTLD, she was tended to and surrounded by her children and their families, her sister Mary, her special friend, Chris Bernhard, and the unheralded angels among us at Shurmer Place Memory Assisted Living and Cypress Hospice Care. Our thanks to those two groups can never be adequately expressed, but our great admiration for them and their tireless efforts will be endless.
A private service, during which Pauline's family will receive her remains, is planned. At a later date, a gathering to honor Pauline's memory will be held; details for the many she loved, and those who loved her, will be sent along.
The family asks that no flowers be sent. If anyone wishes to honor Pauline's memory with a charitable gift in her name, the family also asks to please split your donation between Shurmer Place Memory Assisted Living, Attn: Institutional Advancement, 18627 Shurmer Road, Strongsville OH 44136 https://altenheim.com/donations/ and Cypress Hospice Care, 2 Berea Commons, Berea OH 44017.
