I am Paul A. GRAHAM'S 1st born child, Gayanne Graham, DOB: 9/28/1952 & almost 63yrs now. I grew up with my father & step mother Terry & the cutest half brother Michael & little Laura. I had to leave at 10yrs to go live with my mother & step dad. I made an effort at 21yrs to contact my Dad with my sister Jeannette 18 yrs & we had a lot of catching up on missed years. I sewed a Southwest shirt for my Dad & a Christmas tablecloth for Terry. I loved the picture he painted of me & cat when in Mobile, AL (which he hung on wall by dining table). He didn't find out I burned my Weekly Readers on the bathroom floor, by the attic tub with feet, until we move out. (I used one of Laura's cloth diaper, dampened to put it out & then threw diaper out in the snow). It was the house on Lloyd Ave. In Providence, RI. I did not like Dad & Terry smoking. I am sorry Terry disliked me because I looked like the 1st wife.
I always tell folks, no one asked me if I wanted to be a child of divorce. I didn't belong on the mailbox of either of my parents re-marriages.
I wanted my Father to be proud of me, and I Never got to show him that. I have 21 silver dollars he gave me and he said "Love, Dad". I have cherished the thought that at one point he really did love me, and I thank God for that. I know he loved my sister Jeannette, and at times she was Daddy's favorite girl. I am sad she had a terrible accident & I had to take her off life support & cremate her & have her ashes & her favorite King Charles Cavalier "Charlie's" ashes with hers. I was born a "Graham" and will be one until I pass on. I know my sister Pennelope Graham Echelberger, born 9/6/56 has father Paul A. Graham on her birth certificate. And my Aunt Nancy Pendleton, only living sister to my Dad is still living. And I liked growing up in my Dad's parents houses in Barberton & Poland, Ohio. I was so proud of my Dad's father, Paul A. Graham, Sr. was a Woolworth ' s store manager & Dad's mother, Margaret G. Graham, was so talented with dry flowers. Dad's graphic design & Grandmother's talent & my mom with being an art teacher & artist herself passed on a lot to me & Penny & my daughter Peggy Mizumi Graham-Jones, born 6/23/1980 is Pacific - Islander (is a living Grand-daughter of my Father, Paul A. Graham). I brought her to meet my dad when she was 2yrs old. Now she is married to Nick Jones & they have 1 child named Kumiko Anne Jones, born 8/8/13, and she is a Great-Grand-daughter of Paul A. GRAHAM. And Great-Grand niece of Aunt Nancy Pendleton, Paul's only living sister.
