So sorry for you loss. Just went to find where Paul moved to - never expecting to find his obituary.
Paul was such a blessing to Patti Buist and myself, Jenny Forner when we went to visit him at Anchorage Solid Waste Services. His passion and our passion of how we could keep usable goods out of the landfill was a perfect match. The city of Anchorage, partnered with us through a grant and allowed us to collect items twice a week. Eight years later Anchorage re:MADE is a thriving non-profit that is impacting the environment, artists and people with barriers to 9 to 5 employment. The seeds he planted are flourishing.

Dear Alicia and family,
I am so very sorry to hear the news of Paul’s passing. What a wonderful and caring man he was and people knew that from the moment they met him. I am not sure how he got the nickname Bear, but for me, he was a Teddy Bear who gave great big hugs!
My condolences and prayers to Alicia and family. May he rest in peace and his memory be eternal.
