Mark Torrens
My name is Mark Torrens. I first met Pat in 1993 when I attended an Allen Bradley course he taught in Rochester, NY. In 1995 I joined Allen Bradley as a technical instructor and was pleasantly surprised to find Pat was now one of my colleagues. We would cross paths occasionally. In 2005 about 5 months after I lost my wife, Pat and I were both teaching classes sin the Detroit office. At lunch one day Pat came into my classroom when I was breaking down crying in private over my wife Diana. He was warm and understanding in a way that let me know I had support where I hadn’t expected. I have always cherished that friendship, and I feel for your loss. I am sorry that I only found out today, I retired in 2018 and have lost touch with so many of my friends from Rockwell. I pray you find some solace in life, my memories of Pat help me.
