Patricia Tamulewicz's Obituary
On June 2nd, 2023, Patricia Lynn Tamulewicz (nee Grzybowski) 75, a long-time resident of Strongsville, Ohio and second home resident of Saint Petersburg, Florida entered into rest peacefully at home with her beloved husband Richard Sr. and four children, Michelle (Bill Timm), Dawn (Jeff Craddock), Sheri (Tom Moran), and Richard Jr. (Amber Kelly) at her side after a heroic battle of Liver Cancer diagnosed February of this year.
Patricia is grandmother to Austin (Nina Rocco), Marissa and Dominic Craddock, Alexander Timm, Gabriela and Maelie Moran, Kayla, Hudson, Avery, & Chase Tamulewicz. She is great grandmother to Paisley & Reagan Craddock.
Patricia was born on January 22nd to Xavier and Hattie (aka Busha) in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended South High School in Cleveland, Ohio where she was a majorette. After graduating in 1966, she married her husband of 57 years, May 13th, 1967, right before his service in the Vietnam War in August of that same year.
Before motherhood, Patricia worked at Freeway Washer and Stamping. After her youngest entered school full time, she worked at Scholastic Books, Procare Vision Center, Mount Sinai Breast Cancer Center, and Elliott Electric Manufacturing. Later on, she joined the family business, EMCO Electric International, retiring just two years ago.
Patricia will always be best known as mom, grandma (aka Consuela & Mom-Mom), Aunt Pat, Patsy and Mrs. Tamo. To her beloved husband, as best friend, soul mate, “love-of-his-life” and his “mind reader”. She was dog mama to Charlie (aka Chuck-deceased) and Tito. She was meticulous in everything she did, from housekeeping, to Christmas gift wrapping and decorating, enormous size party hostess, cleaning her car, and gardening. Her love of shopping was evident by her collection of sunglasses, purses, flip flops, area rugs and re-accessorizing her beach condo during each visit. Everyone was always welcomed in her home and once you entered, you were family. Her advocacy for the Down Syndrome community on behalf of her grand-daughter, Kayla was a small example of her unending giving- heart.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents Hatti and Xavior John, and seven of her nine siblings; Evelyn Dlugolinski (Edward, deceased), Rita Bednarski (Joseph, deceased), Robert (Anna DiSiena, deceased), Richard (Rosie Fosco, deceased), David (Geri Piatkowski), Michael (Carol Sansone), and Thomas (Wanita Ingrasia, deceased).
She is survived by two of her nine siblings; Shirley August (Dennis Sr., deceased) Joseph (Cathy Foley), and many, many, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by mother in-law to Pauline (nee Sudol) and father-in-law Stanley Tamulewicz Sr. and brother-in-law to Joseph (Donna Wisnieski). She is survived by brother-in-law Stanley (Jeanette Obloy-deceased) and Thomas (Carol Woltman) and sister-in-law Marianne (David Harrison).

Wake & Mass Attire . . . Pat did not like being the center of attention and is not a fan of wake services. In honor of her wishes and one of her two “happy places” in Saint Petersburg at the beach, skip the suits, ties, black clothing, formal dresses and heels and wear tropical-summer attire for the wake on Wednesday- and don’t forget the flip flops! For mass on Thursday, we will wear traditional attire.
Her Spirit Lives On . . . Please help keep Pat’s spirit alive by sharing your favorite memory about her with everyone who loved her. Write it down at home and bring it with you or use the note paper provided at the Funeral Home and drop them in the basket provided. If you wish to participate, we will begin sharing these memories aloud between 6:30-7pm.
