Nicole Washington's Obituary
Nicole Washington (Garcia), age 74, of Strongsville, passed away November 7th, 2021. Born to her late mother, Lenore Thorpe in New York City on August 19, 1947, Nicole grew up in northeast Ohio with her mother, stepfather, Dr. Samuel Thorpe (deceased) and sisters Melba (deceased), Dana and Shelly (deceased). She is survived by her husband Lane, with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage this year. Nicole is also survived by her loving children Blaine Lawson (Matt), Dana Jones (Bradley), Blake Washington and Dr. Lane Washington, stepdaughter Lanée Blaise (Kerlin), bonus-daughters Casey Edwards, and Ronda Lunn (Kyle), grand-children Kayla, Jay, Tucker, Kai, Sage and Eliot, a host of loving nieces and nephews, and a very special God-mother Teri Chevers. Nicole was an accomplished realtor and past president of the Strongsville Women’s League. To those who knew her best, she was simply ‘Big Mama.’
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nicole’s name to Laura's Home Women's Crisis Center.

Visitation at Jardine Funeral Home, Saturday November 13th, 2021 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Formal ceremony begins at 2:00pm.
