Nancy C. Olszewski's Obituary
Nancy C. Olszewski (nee Sheckells), passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, in Strongsville, Ohio. Born on January 9, 1934, in Leaksville, North Carolina, Nancy will be remembered by her radiant smile, infectious laugh and unwavering devotion to family.
Nancy was married 61-years to her soulmate, Andy (Ski) Olszewski, and together they created a legacy of love. Nancy was a devoted mother to the late Stevie Brown and Lecia Zaccagnini (Victor Santiago) and Susan Tomusko (Jerry). She was the cherished daughter of the late Cabbot and Sallie Sheckells and was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, leaving behind her dear sister, Lil Weaver.
Her role as Nana was one she cherished. Nancy's grandchildren, Carrie Sotak (Marc), Andrea Bockmore (David), Nancy Coutcher (Cameron), Angela Zaccagnini (Matthew Shumney), Nova and Tyler Tomusko, were the recipients of her unconditional love and hysterical stories. She was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Nancy loved and fed all animals, great and small. Nancy never met a stranger, and she made everyone around her feel loved and special. Her sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Forever in our hearts.

ALL SERVICES MONDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2025. A Memorial Mass will be held MONDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2025 at 11:30AM at St. John Neumann Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville, Ohio 44136. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
