Nancy Coburn- Gescheidle's Obituary
Nancy Coburn Gescheidle, of North Royalton, Ohio– peacefully passed away on April
30, 2023, surrounded by her family after a fierce battle with breast cancer.
Nancy was born in Painesville, Ohio on January 19, 1960 to James and Shirley
Kuharik.
Nancy attended Willoughby South High School, played sports, and was a majorette.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Miami University. She then went on
to get her CPA.
Nancy raised her two children on her own for many years. She married Robert
Gescheidle, her soul mate on April 16, 2011.
Nancy had a successful career in finance, being named a Vice President at the age of 29. She
spent the last 35 years at Key Bank in various business management roles.
Nancy loved the movie Fargo, Columbo the series, Italian food, all Cleveland sports,
and her "jazzersisters" in Brunswick. She often hosted large family gatherings with an
eclectic array of endless food. Nancy would do anything for her family and was
famous for saying “I will Venmo you for that”. She will always be loved as “Gigi” by her
grand kids.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Robert Gescheidle; children Stephen
Coburn and Meghan (Tony) Medlock; and grandchildren Mason, Wyatt, Collin, Travis
and one more due July 5th; step children Patrick, Rachel and Corinne Gescheidle; In-
laws Dan and Mary Gescheidle; and siblings Michael S. (Patricia) Kuharik, Diane L.
(Robert) Hofer, James C. Kuharik, Robert D. (Cherie) Kuharik and Donna M. (Zdenko)
Krstic; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and James.
VISITATION will be held on THURSDAY, May 4th from 4pm - 8pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held on FRIDAY, May 5th at 10am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
