Sorry you have to go through this loss. Know that you took excellent care of your mother and you'll have no regrets. She was lucky that she had you to care for her in her golden years.
Myrtle is probably up there with Jim and Warren in the 'big kitchen in the sky' making an Iowa Meal...or something with cream of mushroom soup. I know whatever it is it will be fantastic!
A funny memory for me is when she asked me where my CANDY THERMOMETER was. I had never heard of one because I don't make candy. I asked Jim IF candy was supposed to be eaten at a certain temperature. This was 28 years ago. I now know what a candy thermometer is AND I STILL don't own one.
