Got to share an afternoon with Myles and family at John's Christmas party a few years ago. Myles was passing out cookies to all of us and especially his grandpa John. We so delighted in his thrill to keep sharing. My thoughts are with all his family. Joanne Butts

One of my favorite memories of Myles is playing Wii cornhole. Myles was competitive, even though he couldn’t really compete at most things. Except Wii cornhole. I have great memories of playing this game with him, and the trash talk – “No, I’m gonna kick YOUR butt!” Those of you that have seen it would agree that he had very unorthodox style, honestly, but he willed it into the hole. He actually did kick my butt. It was great fun.
Myles just loved everyone's company. You could say that he craved attention, but that doesn't tell the whole story. He really gave something to everyone who spent time with him - he was just so genuine. I feel like I could learn a lot from his example. I want to honor his memory by trying to be more like Myles.
Our family was so fortunate to have Myles as a friend to my son Nicholas. Myles made high school so much fun and the guys had an unique bond. Myles' happiness and smile was contagious. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, but always remember the difference that Myles made in the life of so many!
