Mildred Bennett (nee Persinger) passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 in Lagrange, Ohio. Born on July 9, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, Mildred's life was a testament to the love and laughter she brought into the world.
Mildred, the beloved daughter of William P. Persinger and the late Terrie Persinger, grew up surrounded by a close-knit family. She was a cherished sister to Terrie Persinger (Doug), Debby Trimble (Mark), and the late Willie Persinger. Her role as a mother was one she held most dear, raising her daughters Becky Collins (Anthony) and Jessica Batzel (Brian) with unwavering love and dedication. Mildred's joy multiplied as she became a doting grandmother to Hannah, Brayden, and Briley, whose lives she enriched with her endless support and affection.
Mildred enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports and activities and she also enjoyed spending time at the senior center, where she spent many cherished moments with dear friends. Her laughter and stories were the heartbeat of gatherings, and her ability to connect with others made her a beloved figure among her peers.
As an aunt, Mildred showered Patrick, Megan, and Coraline with the same affection and guidance she gave her own children. Her influence on their lives will be a lasting legacy of her nurturing spirit.
Mildred's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The memories she created, the love she shared, and the lives she touched will continue to shine brightly, a legacy of a life lived with joy and purpose.
VISITATION SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2025 from 1PM-4PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held MONDAY 11AM at Jardine’s. The burial will immediately follow the service at Hope Memorial Gardens in Hinckley.
