Michael J. Sukey Jr.'s Obituary
Michael J. Sukey, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 10, 2015 surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents Michael J. and Estelle G. (nee Hoag) Sukey, father-in-law John J. Becker, brother-in-law Lawrence A. (Karen) Becker, and sister-in-law Kay (Joseph) Becker. Michael was born in Elyria and was a lifelong resident of Ohio. He enjoyed Lake Erie and deep sea fishing. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He served as an officer in VFW Post 9340 and previously VFW Post 3341, where he was a two time white hat commander and quartermaster. Michael is survived by his wife, Deborah Sukey (nee Becker), daughters Michelle (Rocky) Sukey and Shannon (Michael) Mains, brothers Lawrence (Melaine) and Martin (Evelyn), sister Elaine (Raymond) Lydon, grandchildren Mikayla and Andria Mains and mother-in-law, Darlene Becker. A private family memorial will be held with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Arrangements by Jardine Funeral Home. www.jardinefh.com
