Michael Alan Mann's Obituary
Michael Alan Mann, 78, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, in North Royalton, Ohio. Born on August 3, 1946, Michael's journey through life was marked by an unwavering devotion to his loved ones, a passion for his work, and a love for the simple pleasures of life.
Michael's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife of 56 years, Colleen A. Mann, who stood by his side as a partner and confidante through every chapter of their lives together. He was a loving father to his children Sean Mann (Geeta), Ryan Anderson (Keith), Shane Mann (Brandy), Shannon Mann (Jen), and remembered with profound love by his late daughter Meghan Mann. The son of the late George and Marjorie Mann, Michael was a caring brother to Pat Warfield (the late Howard), Marcia Mann, and predeceased by Joan McCaulley (the late Paul) and Larry Mann. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, as he cherished every moment with his grandchildren Amber, Reagan, Jordan, Wyatt, Ethan, Blaize, and Maeve.
Professionally, Michael dedicated many years of service to Ferro, from which he retired, only to continue sharing his expertise as a consultant for many years thereafter. His work was not just a job but a part of who he was, and his contributions were valued by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Michael's interests outside of work were a reflection of his zest for life and his love for the outdoors. He was an avid tennis player, relishing the competition and camaraderie found on the courts. Golfing was another of Michael's passions, providing him with countless hours of tranquility and challenge as he navigated the greens under the open sky.
Those who knew Michael understood that his life was a testament to the values he held dear: family, hard work, and the pursuit of happiness through simple joys. His warm smile, hearty laugh, and the stories he shared will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
