Michael John Grzeskowiak's Obituary
Michael John Grzeskowiak, age 44, passed away on June 22, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Danielle Grzeskowiak (nee Hutter) for 10 years and the proud father of Benjamin and Johnathan “JJ”. Michael was the son of Jerome Randall “Randy” and Rosemary Grzeskowiak, and the late Barbara Grzeskowiak (nee Perritt). He was the brother of Kristen Grzeskowiak and Jeffrey (Robin) Grzeskowiak, and brother-in-law of David (Jennifer) Hutter. He was the son-in-law of Dale and Dauna Hutter, uncle to Maximus, Troy, Rebecca, and Russell and coach to many young athletes.
Mike had a lifelong love of sports. He played football at St. Bernadette’s, Holy Name High School, University of Akron, and at the professional level. A dedicated Cleveland sports fan, he followed his teams through every season. He enjoyed coaching both football and baseball, especially with his sons Ben and JJ, and his nephews Max, Troy and Russell.
Mike was a Registered Nurse at the Cleveland Clinic for many years in various capacities. He was also an avid collector of sports memorabilia and video game enthusiast.
He will be remembered by his family and friends for the many roles he held in their lives—as a husband, father, son, brother, coach, and nurse.
A Visitation will be held FRIDAY JUNE 27, 2025 from 3PM-7PM at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville, Ohio 44136. A Funeral Mass will be held SATURDAY JUNE 28, 2025 at 10AM at St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment private.
