I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike and I were more than classmates at Ignatius in the class of 72, he was my best friend. I am ashamed to admit that we drifted apart in the years since. We only recently reconnected on Facebook. During our high school years Mike, myself and Mike Criscione were the three amigo, always up to something. I spent many a night at the Felice home enjoying some great food and sauce from his mom's magical, never empty pot that had a permanent home on the stove. When we weren't at his house, Mike was often at our house in Independence. I don't think either set of parents were ever surprised to find one of us as a guest at the breakfast table. When I got married in January of 1976 Mike was one of my groomsmen and I'll never forget his complaining about the attire he was forced to wear. I would not have been surprised if he had gone rogue that day and showed up in something less formal! We lived, laughed and enjoyed life to the fullest back then. I wish now that we had stayed in touch after I moved away from the area. It's nice to see that he never lost his love for cars and that is something we shared to the end. Our thoughts and prayers to Colleen and the entire family. Rest in Peace Mike!
