Melvin Earl Kibler's Obituary
Melvin Earl Kibler, 86, passed away on September 11th, 2022.
He was born on October 1st, 1935 to the late Austin and Mary Kibler in Cleveland, Ohio.
Melvin went to high school at Cuyahoga Heights, graduating in the class of 1953. Following high school, he attended Ohio University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture.
He married Renee (Simonetti) Kibler on September 15th, 1956. They would have been married for 66 years.
Melvin served in the Army from 1957 - 1959, stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and was in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Farming was his passion. In his earlier days, he and his wife owned a dairy farm. In his later years, he traveled with his wife in their motorhome, collected antiques, and spent time outdoors working on the landscape of his property.
Melvin was a family man. He would always say “I have a wonderful family.” They will miss him dearly.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children Leslie First, Jeffery (Amy) Kibler, Scott Kibler, and Sherri Krukemeyer; grandchildren Kendal (John) Tuck, Deanna First, Christopher Kibler, Nicholas Kibler, Kelly (Brad) Wagner, Michael (Pam) Kibler, and Thomas (Emily) Krukemeyer; and great- grandchildren Layla, Mia, Grace, Lucan, and Quinton.
Melvin’s services will be private for the family with interment taking place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
