Maxine G. Shuran's Obituary
She was born on June 28th, 1929 to the late Elmer and Verna (nee Petschler) Apel in Cleveland, Ohio.
On July 1st, 1950 she married John Shuran. They had been married for 53 years before his passing in 2003.
Maxine loved being with and spending quality time with her family, and watching her grandsons play CYO, high school, and college football. She was a Cleveland Browns fan. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, and travelling.
She was involved with her church as a Sunday school teacher and singing in the church choir.
Maxine is survived by her son, Jeff (Tanya) Shuran; sibling Linda Yohon; and grandchildren Ivan and Alexander Shuran.
In addition to her parents, Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, John Shuran; and siblings Lois Kasper and Elmer Apel.
VISITATION will be held on MONDAY, January 16th from 4pm – 6pm with the PARASTAS beginning at 6pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. . FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on TUESDAY, January 17th at 11am at St. Emilian Byzantine Catholic Church, Brunswick
