Max J. Aynik Jr's Obituary
Max J. Aynik Jr, 63, passed away December 20, 2021. He is survived by his loving companion of 19 years, Cynthia Sofranko; her children, Daniel Jr and Christopher Sofranko; his siblings Donna Morris (Ben; deceased), Michael Aynik, and Mary Maichl; nieces Jessica and Sarah Maichl; great nephew, Eli Kline and great niece, Mia West, and Aria. He is predeceased by his parents, Max and Dolores Aynik. Max was very generous and compassionate by nature. He was always willing to help someone in need without anything in return. He loved photography and was passionate about his faith and serving his church, People’s Baptist Church in Brunswick. Max most recently worked at Bendex but for over 20 years, he worked as a mechanical designer for Zin, ASRC, Aerotek, and Analex, which are subcontractors for NASA. One of his most enjoyable projects was designing a rack that went into the International Space Station. The rack was used for experiments in space. Max will be in our hearts for eternity. A Celebration of Life will be planned for the spring.
