Matthew "Matt" F. Helline, passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 36. Born on August 3, 1987, in Cleveland, Ohio, Matt's infectious spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Matt was the beloved son of Lorrie and the late Francis Helline. He shared a profound and enduring love with his partner, Tito Titchenell, who was his rock and confidant. Matt was cherished by his aunts and uncles, Christine (Bruce) Brown, Jane Helline, and Sue Dantin. His cousins Kimberlee, Brody, Timothy, and Christopher Dantin, along with the late Tim "Timmy" Brown, held a special place in his heart. The family bonds were strong and unwavering, a testament to the close-knit family that Matt was proud to be a part of.
A graduate of Strongsville High School in 2005, Matt's academic journey continued at Youngstown State University, where he pursued a Business Degree for three years. Matt's dedication to his work was evident in the way he mentored and inspired his colleagues, becoming a role model to many who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Matt's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. A culinary enthusiast, he was renowned for his highly requested spinach and artichoke dip, and his grilling skills were unmatched, especially when it came to steak and lobster. His miniature wiener dog, Khloe, was not just a pet but his best friend, a constant companion through life's ups and downs. An avid gamer, Matt found joy and relaxation in playing Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto on his XBOX.
Music was another of Matt's great loves. He enjoyed the energy and excitement of live concerts, with a particular fondness for Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Tina Turner. Tina's powerful anthem "Simply the Best" held a special place in his heart, especially during his younger years, and could often be heard resonating from his home.
Family was the cornerstone of Matt's life. He was the orchestrator of family dinners, ensuring that these occasions were filled with laughter, love, and delicious food. His presence at these gatherings was a source of happiness for all who attended. Matt and Tito cherished their time together, whether it was doing yard work, embarking on dates to their favorite grocery store, Aldi, or simply enjoying each other's company.
