Matthew Robert Hasinecz's Obituary
Matthew Robert Hasinecz, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2023. He was born on June 8, 1932 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania to the late Matthew and Anna (nee Kapacs) Hasinecz. Matt was the beloved husband of the late Edna (nee Kessinger) for 65 years; loving father of Rose Ann (Greg) Geisler; cherished grandfather of Robbie(Kendall) Stricko, Julie(Randy) Deighton, Gregie(Megan) Geisler and Stevie Geisler; great-grandfather of Zachary, Isabella, Avery, Kaylee, Cora, Cecilia and Malena; brother of the late Joseph, the late Annie(the late Frank) Majercik, Eleanor, the late Jim(the late Mary), Aggie(Gene) Hornberger, the late Mary, and Gene(Marie). Matt will always hold a special place in the hearts of his family and will be deeply missed by them all. Visitation will be held at Jardine Funeral Home 15822 Pearl Rd, Strongsville, OH. 44136 Sunday February 26, 2023 from 2-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church 4600 State Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109 Monday February 27, 2023 at 11AM. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
