Matthew James Gritti's Obituary
Matthew James Gritti, age 23, passed away September 14, 2013, after a lifelong battle with tuberous sclerosis. He was the loving son of Frank and Elaine Gritti and inspiring brother of Anthony and Kate. He will be remembered for his courage, tenacity, strong will and mischievous smile. Matthew profoundly touched many lives including those of his grandparents, Frank and Kay Gritti, Robert and Rosemary Sicking (deceased), aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends and caregivers to count. “Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” –Khalil Gibran.
