Maryruth Stroemple (nee Baker), 85, passed away August 5, 2016. Beloved wife of George. Loving mother of Gary (Barb), Greg (Debbie), Dan (Sue), Diane Baker (Dwight), and Geoff (Marcy). Sister of the late Onalee Hirt, Ollie, Beulah Gilbert, Mike, Donna Morton, and Shirley Wirkner. Dear grandmother of Greg, Nick, Emma, Drew, Molly, Alex, Kaylee, Taylor, Mary, and Matt. Great grandmother of Adam. Maryruth was a lifelong resident of Strongsville and graduate of SHS. She was devoted to her family and community. Once active in the PTU at St. Joseph School and Strongsville Athletic Boosters. She surely holds the record for baseball games attended. A trained beautician and barber, she is still remembered by many for her haircuts. Maryruth was a cook for the Strongsville Senior Citizens at the Old Town Hall for many years. She loved life and touched many. She was a very proud and loving grandmother. Her kind smile and caring heart will be missed by many. VISITATION SUNDAY 1-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Mass MONDAY 10AM at St. Joseph Church, Strongsville. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Strongsville Cemetery.
