Mary Louise Tesar's Obituary
Mary Louise Tesar (nee Gottschick), 95, passed away November 7, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Curtis Tesar. Loving mother of Nanette (the late Clarence) Sako, Curt (Kathy) Tesar, Linda (Mike) Drury and Charles (Kelly) Tesar. Daughter of the late Martin and Marie Gottschick. Sister of the late Betty Schrumpf and Shirley Prokop. Dear grandmother of Brett Sako, Michael Drury (Lauren), Buddy Tesar (Karina), Charles Tesar Jr., Monica Kelly (Nick), Travis Tesar, and Brittany Lewis (Tommy). Blessed great-grandmother of ten.
Mary Lou was a talented seamstress, a gifted cake decorator and an avid crafter who loved to crochet, knit, needlepoint and cross stitch. Everyone who knew her was blessed to receive a handmade gift that will be treasured and cherished.
Mary Lou and her husband Curt loved taking adventures together. Those adventures ranged from camping in a 16’ trailer with their four young children to vacationing frequently in Maui where they enjoyed the sun, umbrella drinks and each other. After Curt’s retirement they purchased a vacation home in Florida where they became snowbirds and made many wonderful, life-long friends. During this time Curt and Mary Lou added a pug named Spider to the family, and he became their constant companion and travel buddy.
