Mary Jane James' Obituary
Mary Jane James, age 87, went home to her Lord in Heaven on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Mary Jane was born on March 25, 1938 to the late George John and Gladys (Trisler) Rasing in Cleveland, OH.
She is survived by her beloved goddaughter, Pammie (James) Dovalosky; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, and the wonderful care staff at Shurmer Place.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene F. James; siblings Eileen "sis" Behner, George Rasing, Robert Rasing, and Kenneth Rasing; and her parents, George and Gladys Rasing.
Mary Jane’s family will greet friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 4-7 PM at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Burial will follow at Strongsville Cemetery.
