My first time ever seeing Mary was when she was hit in the back by a car in front of Ignatius waiting for Michael to come out of basketball practice. Again, when she extended the olive leaf of inviting my son to hang out with Michael. My son eventually became good friends with Michael and we went to their home. I have never felt so welcome by an angel that was among us. Both Mary and her husband welcome me to their home. I told my son they are most nicest people I ever met.
Mary was beautiful inside and out. I will miss seeing you and your kind spirit. But she is among the angel still watching over her family,

I just want to send my deepest condolences to Mary’s Greulich and Deucher families. While Mary and I lost touch since high school and college, I have and will always treasure the friendship we shared. She was one of my best friends in high school…loyal, caring, dependable, funny…and I hope I was that to her in return. I only met Heath once and never got to meet Michael and Fiona, but they’ve been on my mind a lot the past week. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope there is some solace in knowing that Mary meant so much to so many people and, even for those of us who were distanced from her by time and space, who she was and the meaning she added to my life will be treasured.
Dearest family, my heart breaks for each and every one of you. I came to know Mary during her time at MTD. During our time together, I was blessed with a friendship that spanned everything from discovering our mutual food preferences to sharing laughter over life's little oddities. Mary was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Her strong leadership helped me to grow both professionally and personally. Thank you for sharing such a special soul with all of us. May you receive strength to keep going, comfort in your brokenness, and peace in God's loving arms every single day. My dear friend, you will always be missed. I will always remember you as the superstar of our Jib-Jab videos. I loved how much laughter you received from all of them. I am thankful you touched my life and taught me some of your "lioness" instincts. I will also remember you as the little mouse that would sneak into my desk for some much need chocolate breaks.
