Mary Fassinger's Obituary
Mary Fassinger (nee Dovala), born May 9, 1915 to the late Julia and John Dovala of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2014. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Walter D. Fassinger, dear sister of Irene Urbansok (the late George) and the late Emil Dovala (Dorothy). She was a loving aunt to Deborah Schultis (William), Carole O’Brien (Joseph), Linda Milchen (the late William), Dennis Dovala (Laurie), Cynthia Dovala, Wayne Dovala, and Douglas Melcher. Mary had a career for many years as an executive secretary with Bendix Westinghouse in Elyria, Ohio. The family would like to thank Mary’s many caregivers at Shurmer Place and Hospice of the Western Reserve. VISITATION FRIDAY 10-11AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11AM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Interment Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
