Mary B. Chesney's Obituary
Mary B. Chesney, age 80, passed away on April 23rd. Mary is survived by her husband Neil; children Lee Bly (Gary) and Michael (Diane); sister Karen Geduldig (Richard, deceased); grandchildren Gavin (Bre), Cameron, Natalie, Andrew, and Luke; and great grandchildren Myles and Veronica.
A kind and gentle person, Mary loved hunting down a bargain at Macy’s, spending time at her cottage in Vermilion, tending to her many flower gardens, doting on her pets, and, most importantly, being with her family. Mary taught elementary school for over 25 years, primarily in the Akron City Schools, where she was beloved by her coworkers and students. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Vitalia Strongsville for the care Mary received in recent years. All services private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Animal Protective League.
