Joy, Karen and Diana -We are all so saddened by this loss. Mark was a great guy and a great lifetime friend. I rode to school with Mark almost every day in High School and basically grew up with him. He was the closest neighbor. I have a lot of good memories of time spent with Mark and even though we have been separated by a big country he is one of the very few folks that have kept in touch through the years. Mark was always unforgettable and larger than life! I helped him clean horse stalls and worked on his Charger with him in the late 70's and early 80's. In the 80's we kept in touch in Akron and from the 90's on I would see him when I returned home from Oregon. For those folks who really took the time and got know Mark...we all know he always has had a heart of gold and was very kind person. Mark would always, and with no questions, help folks when they needed it! I know Mark helped me out on more than one occasion when I got myself into trouble! I am so glad that Mark and Diana met. Even though he was ill, you could tell he was so happy finding his soul mate. I really wish I could be there today but again the distance keeps us apart. I am so very thankful for the time we had, the unconditional friendship and that I was able to see him in November. I will miss him but wonderful memories will prevail.
