Marilyn Faith Drummond (nee Howard), a beacon of warmth and love, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on March 1, 1954, Marilyn's life was a testament to the power of kindness, the strength of family bonds, and the joy of simple pleasures.
Marilyn was the cherished wife of Dale Drummond, with whom she shared 45 years of unwavering partnership and affection. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, support, and mutual respect. As a devoted mother, Marilyn's nurturing spirit shone brightly through her children, Renee Buettner (Mark) and Dale Drummond II (Cheryl). Her guidance and love helped shape them into the compassionate individuals they are today.
A sister of boundless love and loyalty, Marilyn is survived by Gina Ross and Deanna Howard Duignan. She was predeceased by her sister Patty Stephens and her brothers Ricky and Ronnie Howard. Her role as a sister was one she held close to her heart, always there to offer a listening ear or a comforting embrace.
Marilyn was the proud daughter of the late Vestal and Alice Howard, who instilled in her the values of family and the importance of cherishing every moment. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Corrine Buettner, Jacob, and Bryan Donelon, who will forever carry with them the memories of her gentle guidance and unconditional love.
An avid lover of the natural world, Marilyn found solace and joy in the beauty of the outdoors. Her passion for nature was matched only by her love for reading, which provided her with endless hours of adventure and learning. A dedicated fan of the Cleveland Indians, Marilyn's enthusiasm for her team was infectious, bringing excitement and camaraderie to all who watched the games alongside her.

VISITATION THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2025 from 3PM-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. A Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY 10AM at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Columbia Cemetery on Royalton Road in Columbia Station, Ohio.
