Margit Thar Habermann's Obituary
Margit Thar Habermann, 93, of Strongsville, died July 25, 2013 surrounded by family. Margit was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jozsef Habermann; she was mother of Joseph F. Habermann (deceased) and his wife Shelley, Maria (Robert, husband) Wohner of Englewood, NJ, and Robert A. (Lori, wife) Habermann; grandmother of Robi (Annie), Michael, and John (Brandy, wife) Wohner and Michelle “Liz” (deceased) and Joseph R. “Joey” (Brittany, fiancé; Taylor, daughter of fiancé) Habermann; great-grandmother of Ava, Chase, and Karchi Wohner and Gemma; Habermann; she is survived by one brother, Nandor Thar of Budafok, Hungary, and beloved friend to many. She was born in Budafok, Hungary and immigrated here with her family in February 1957, later becoming a citizen. Despite enduring countless hardships, she led her life with courage and elegance. The matriarch of the family, she always looked over everyone, providing strength and guidance. She will be remembered by everyone for her sense of determination, humor, and excellent Hungarian cuisine. Funeral arrangements are with Jardine Funeral Home in Strongsville, with visitation on Sunday 2:00-6:00 P.M. and the funeral Mass held at St. Joseph Church in Strongsville, OH on Monday at 10:00 A.M., with interment at Strongsville Cemetery. If anyone wishes to make a contribution in his memory, contributions can be made to St. Emeric Church at 1860 West 22nd Street in Cleveland, OH 44113.
