Loren "Larry" Nauth's Obituary
Loren “Larry” Nauth went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1 at age 81 after his battle with Alzheimer’s. Larry was born in Cleveland on June 26, 1935, graduated from East High School in 1954. Larry served in the Marine National Guard from 1954 to 1962. He retired from Samsel Supply as a construction sales manager in 2009 after 51 years of service, and was a member of Weymouth Community Church for many years. He will be greatly missed by many who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Larry is predeceased by his father Ernest Nauth, mother Bertha Thomay (Coleman), step father John Thomay and half-brothers, Jim (Donald) and David Griffing , his first wife Judy Nauth (Steins) and stepdaughter Cindy Shaffer (Yuda).
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Marie Nauth (Klaehn),step daughter Connie Loss (Tim) of Georgia and children Michael, Loren, Robert and Sue, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his step son-in law Tim Shaffer and he and Cindy’s three beautiful daughters, Emily, Janelle, and Kelly.
Family will receive guests from 11 to 12 on Thursday, May 4 at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, OH 44136. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held following visitation at the funeral home followed by lunch. Pastor John Lurtz will officiate. There will be a private burial.
