Lois E. White's Obituary
Lois E. White, a beacon of wisdom and warmth, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, at the age of 96 in Strongsville, Ohio. Born on November 28, 1928, in Minnesota, Lois was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with her kindness and grace.
Lois was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Patrick Ardel White. She was a loving mother, guiding light, and friend to her children, Stephen (Elaine), Barbara Boyd (the late William), Thomas (Donna), Bruce (Kelly), and Jane Ludwig (Mark). Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Cathy Smith (Jeff), Kristen Fields (Tyson), Daniel Ludwig, and Sara Ludwig, and her great-grandchildren, Grace, Patrick, Logan, and Brady, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
The daughter of the late Frederick and Emma Czaia, Lois was a dedicated sister to Marilyn Hobbs (the late Earl) and the late Frederick Jr., Warren (Evelyn), Marjorie Andre (Cam), Richard (Joan), Owen (Carol; surviving), and Caroline Porter. She was also a cherished aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.
Lois's passion for education led her to achieve her Master's in Education. She dedicated her life to the service of others as a Cleveland School Teacher, where she retired after many fulfilling years working as a guidance counselor. Lois's guidance and support shaped the futures of countless students, leaving an indelible mark on the community.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lois was known for her love of puzzles and playing cards. She was an avid Bridge player who cherished the camaraderie and challenge of the game, often sharing this joy with her husband, Patrick and friends. Traveling was another of Lois's passions, and she seized every opportunity to explore new places and cultures, creating a tapestry of memories that her family will treasure forever.
Above all, Lois's unwavering love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of love, education, and the importance of a close-knit family. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and her guidance a compass for those she loved.
Lois's life was a testament to the power of love and the impact one person can have on the lives of many. Her spirit, characterized by generosity and compassion, will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
ALL SERVICES WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2025. Visitation WEDNESDAY 10AM-11AM with a Funeral Service immediately following at 11AM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Interment will be private.
