I was one of Linda's night nurses at the nursing home. I love to see this beautiful picture of her where she is so full of life. I could always tell there was this little spark in her that I can see in this picture. She was going through such a difficult experience yet she never really complained. .She loved her Ipad and phone as they were her escapes from her illness. Oh and she loved her sweets! Which was hard for us as her nurses because she was diabetic. The one thing I remember so much is how she would get so happy and excited that her daughter Katy would deliver her treats. I remember one night a few weeks ago, the aide had gotten her all ready for bed and then Katy sent her a dairy queen delivery. Her eyes lit up as I brought it to the room and she said "That's my Katy!" Of course then she proceeded to spill it all over herself and the entire bed, but that is beside the point. She knew her daughter was thinking of her. And that was all that mattered to Linda. Linda was one of my most challenging patients yet those are the ones I tend to fall in love with so much. Because they know what they are up against and they still fight through. She was very brave knowing what she was battling against. The one thing I know is Linda loved her daughter and was grateful for her support. My condolences to the family.
One of the greatest women to have a garage conversation with!!! If I was down, I know I could talk to Lynn (or make fun of her) and we would just laugh so hard!!! She was one of the kindest, strongest, most genuine and most generous woman!!! You will be greatly missed but never forgotten! Love you Lynn Rest In Peace and watch over us!!

Believe me when I say, her heart was golden. And her love for her Family and Friends was never ending. I am so sad for the pain she endured. But I know she is flying high now. And pain free.My prayers to the Family. Her treasured Friendship will always be in my heart...Rest in God's love Lynn .
