Leonard R. Dudzinski's Obituary
Leonard R. Dudzinski, 87, passed away November 10, 2011. Loving husband of the late Irene. Beloved father of Leonard A. (Paula), Tina, Cyndi Smith (Matthew) and David. Brother of Florence Mondak, Thomas and the late Robert. Dear grandfather of Krystofer, Nikolai, Cole, Kaye and James. Uncle of many. Leonard grew up working in his father's grocery store, Madison Square Market until he enlisted in the military at 19. With the 386th I.R., 97th I.D, he participated in the ETO and occupied Japan. Upon return, he earned a mechanical engineering degree from Fenn College and worked at Bendix Westinghouse for 20+ years where he met his beloved wife, Irene. During this time he became an avid and trophied golfer. He finished his career as Director of the Water Department for the City of Strongsville. The family all helped tend to the land he loved where he, and his brother Robert, built their homes and planted fruit trees and berry bushes. Over the years, many enjoyed the fruit and beauty of the family home. VISITATION SUNDAY 3-7PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE.
