Leonard Nunn Jr.'s Obituary
Leonard Nunn Jr., 91, passed away on January 4th, 2023 at Southwest General Hospital.
He was born on January 3rd, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Leonard and Grace Nunn Sr.
Leonard was an air traffic controller in the Air Force during the Korean War Conflict. Leonard then retired after 35 years of service from Oberlin Air Traffic Control Center. He loved golfing and watching boxing matches. He always enjoyed going on trips to the Bahamas with his family and friends. Throughout his life he always had a dog, he loved all his dogs very much.
He was a working man whose main purpose was to work and provide for his family. He was always known to go out of his way for his family and help in any way that he could.
He is survived by his children Nancy Nunn, Diane (Michael) Berry, and Michael Nunn; grandchildren Tony (JJ) Nunn, Jessica Nunn, Leisa Nunn, Grace Mollica, Jack Berry, Patrick Berry, and Cynthia Maxam; brother Frank (Diane) Nunn; and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son Leonard Nunn III, and his sister Louise Kleinhenz.
VISITATION will be held on TUESDAY, January 10th from 4pm – 8pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held on WEDNESDAY, January 11th at 10:30am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2256 Clague Road, Westlake. Interment will be taking place at Assumption of Mary Cemetery in Brook Park.
