Ed Winsa
A fond memory: 50 years ago, Len was one of my closest friends. We teamed in a golf league at Sleepy Hollow. Each week we played against a different one of the teams in the league (handicaps were used). The losers had to pay the winner's greens fees. I was not a gambler; so, Len offered to pay all if we lost and collect all if we won. I happily agreed. In two years of league play, we never lost -- luck was involved -- but also largely due to the fact that Len had removed a large weight from my shoulders. His thoughtfulness made me better. That was not our only interaction. Len was a real friend to me!
