Lawrence Allen McFarland's Obituary
Lawrence Allen McFarland 71 passed on peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday. Born in McKeesport PA, son of the late Lawrence E. and Margaret (Bartok) McFarland. For decades he worked at NASA Glenn Research Center as a Systems Engineer. He was a graduate of Penn State University and Cleveland State University. Larry enjoyed a lifelong interest in aviation and was a avid member of American Airlines Gas Model Club and American Aviation Historical Society.He is survived by his wife Ilona (Young), son Lawrence E. II (wife Marisa Fornaro), daughter Holly (McFarland) Adams, beloved granddaughter Olivia and brother Barry L. McFarland. Family will receive friends at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville Sunday from 12-4pm. No Flowers Please.
