Lauri Anne Frashure's Obituary
Lauri Anne (Burnett) Frashure was born September 26, 1966, in Berea, Ohio, the daughter of David John Burnett and Bruni (Schneider) Burnett. A graduate of Columbia High School and Baldwin-Wallace College, she went on to a career in library science and married the love of her life, Timothy J. Frashure. Deeply devoted to her children, Anna Faith and Benjamin Jack, Lauri taught youth religion classes for many years and led efforts to support Columbia school bands, theater, and other causes. Together they delighted in traveling, gathering with extended family, exploring nature, enjoying British culture and food, researching family genealogy, caring for their cats, and savoring the joys of life in the country.
Lauri died December 11, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her husband, daughter, and son; son-in-law Dhanu Perera; mother and father; brothers Erich Mark Burnett (Ginger) and David Laurence Burnett (Margarita); three nieces (Bella, Isa, and Alma); two nephews (Julian and Jameson); godmother and aunt Dianne and uncle Gary Palmer; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Gwen Frashure, and father-in-law, Sonny Frashure.
