Kathy Spickler's Obituary
Kathleen R. “Kathy” Spickler, age 71 of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2o26 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Kathy was born on August 2, 1954 to Henry Stanley and Christine (Kreko) Witnik. She married the love of her life, James Spickler, and together they’ve spent 49 years, raising a wonderful family, and creating so many memories together.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, James E. Spickler; children: Loren (Matt) Finnerty, Kristen Spickler (Matt Daugherty), James E. (Rachel) Spickler, and Mary Spickler; grandchildren: Colin and Eva Finnerty, and Lincoln Daugherty; siblings: Nancy Prock, Eileen Bonder; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry S. and Christine Witnik and siblings Dorothy Fowler and her identical twin, Karen Slowey.
Kathy’s family will greet friends on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 3-7 PM at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22909 Center Ridge Road, Rocky River. Burial will follow at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
