Kathleen Mae “Mickey” “Kay” Zavesky (nee Kemmett), 89, went home to the Lord on November 7, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Robert for 47 years. Loving mother of Robert J. (Linda), William P. (deceased) (Cindy), John P. and Kathleen G. Kulp (Sam). Sister of the late Omar, Charles, Irene, Donald, William, John, Edward, Richard, Joseph and Patrick. Daughter of the late William and Iva. Dear grandmother of Laura M. Ferrante (Chris), Katie Lynn Zavesky, Shana M. Kowalski (Kyle), William R. Zavesky, Elizabeth J. Lucchese (Joe) and Sarah G. Kulp (Ryan). Great grandmother of CJ Ferrante, Meghan E. Ferrante, Blake W. Kowalski, Brayden R. Kowalski and Elsie L. Lucchese. Dear aunt, great aunt and friend to many. Kay started working for the Strongsville School System as a substitute cafeteria worker in 1969. In 1970, she became full-time at Strongsville High School until she retired in 1995. She continued to substitute another 7 years after retirement in the high school only because she loved the faculty and students so much. She was famous for making delicious soups. Kay was also a lifetime member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary Brunswick Post 9520 where she did many years of volunteer work with her late husband.
