Kathy was a second grandma to my children as they grew up. Living right next to them in Hinckley, we were lucky to be the recipients of her generosity and thoughtfulness.
How we enjoyed and appreciated Kathy's large pots of homemade soups, and as we call it, her famous rhubarb dessert!
Kathy also spent time teaching my four daughters to knit. She'd come over with all her yarn and needles and simply sit with them patiently demonstrating and checking their work. They loved her; we all did. In fact, my girls, now in their 20s, recently told me that they had gotten together to begin to knit and crochet again. Thank you, Kathy, for inspiring a love of this past time in them.
Kathy's memory will always be in our hearts, as well as the many wonderful memories she gave to us❣️
