Kate immigrated here from Germany in her 20’s and built an amazing life and family in America! She was a powerhouse and full of so much energy, I hardly ever saw her sitting. She even worked out 3-4 times a week till her late 80’s! She traveled the world with her family and friends and always brought us back trinkets, I couldn’t wait to visit the same places when I grew up! I wish I were able to go to Germany with her one time, but she said she was much too old to make the trip when I was old enough to go and appreciate it. Kate was a social butterfly and was part of many clubs, church events, bingo games and luncheons weekly and loved getting the family together. She was so sad when she couldn’t sing anymore, and it makes me smile knowing she is up in heaven singing her heart out and back with all the people she loved and lost in her long life.
