Our condolences to the Schmidt family. Karl was a staple in the Strongsville Senior Center woodshop. He always had a smile on his face and brought one to our staff. He will be be greatly missed by all who knew him at the Senior Center.
My condolences to the Schmidt family. I have fond memories hanging out with Karl and Dereck younger playing golf or just hanging out, Karl was a wonderful man always smiling or had a laugh that always made you feel welcome. He loved hockey and family which he helped pass down to his Grandson. We will miss you always and thoughts and prayers.

We are lucky to have lived near Karl and Sue for the past few years. They welcomed us to the neighborhood, brought cookies to our kids and treats to our dogs. Karl’s zest for life was contagious with his outside music and his smile. He was always willing to lend a hand and looked out for those around him. He will be deeply missed, and our hearts go out to Sue and her family during this difficult time. We will keep an eye on her, as he would have if someone else needed something.
