Kalle was a loving and spirited woman whose warmth could be felt in every room she entered. She carried herself with kindness, strength, and a steady grace that reflected the best of her character. Her life was centered on the people she loved, and she found her greatest joy in caring for her family and being present for the many milestones that filled their lives. Those who knew her will remember her for her open heart, her gentle nature, and the way she made others feel welcomed and valued.
She was a devoted mother to Jackie Hyer and her husband Dave, and to John Tite and his wife Rhonda. She treasured her role as a mother and took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of her children. Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren, Amanda Kerchmar and her husband Josh, David Hyer and his wife Sarah, Adam Hyer and his wife Felicia, Emily Hostetter and her husband Brent, Tyler Tite and his wife Alex, and Jordan Tite. She also embraced the blessing of 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought additional joy and meaning to her later years. Kalle’s family was the center of her world, and her legacy of love will continue through each generation that follows her.
She is also survived by her sisters, Karen Moore and Kim Chirstensen, as well as her brother-in-law, Glenn Chirstensen. The bond she shared with her family was one of deep affection and enduring support. She valued those relationships greatly and remained a steady source of encouragement, comfort, and love throughout her life. Her family will forever remember her not only for the role she played in their lives, but also for the example she set through her compassion and strength.
Kalle dedicated part of her life to caring for others through her work as an LPN at Elyria Memorial Hospital. In that role, she served with professionalism, patience, and genuine concern for the well-being of her patients. Her work reflected her natural compassion and her desire to help others in times of need. She approached her responsibilities with diligence and a caring spirit, earning the respect of her colleagues and the gratitude of those she served. Her years in nursing were a meaningful expression of the same loving nature that guided every part of her life.
A woman of quiet strength and enduring devotion, Kalle made a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her spirited personality, and the many ways she enriched the lives of those around her.
