June Eileen Nemec's Obituary
June Eileen Nemec, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Charles Nemec, building a life centered on faith, family, and friends.
Born to Norman and Melba, June was their cherished only child. She carried the values of love, compassion, and devotion throughout her life and into the family she so dearly treasured.
June was a loving mother to Debra (George) Boyle, Donna (Steve) Skyrm, David Nemec, and Dale (Carrie) Nemec. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Bryan (Lisa), Molly (Matt), Caitlin (Matt), Megan (Bonnie), Joshua (Chelsea), Zachary (Eshani), and Joe (Jessica). Her greatest joy continued through her great-grandchildren: Braden, Mae, Lavender, Charlie, Opal, Mavis, and Dottie, each of whom brought endless smiles to her heart. She is survived by brother-in-law Don (Carol) Nemec, sister-in-law Patty (Mike) Sutter and sister-in-law Barb (the late Jack Nemec)
In her early years, she faithfully served as superintendent of Sunday School, helping guide and inspire generations of children with God’s love. During that same time she devoted her time as a Girl Scout leader, mentoring young girls with warmth and encouragement.
June found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed lively games of pinochle, treasured camping adventures with Chuck and her kids, She was also proud to support and participate in the AMVETS community.
In her later years, June continued to enjoy reading, exercising, baking and traveling extensively with her late husband Chuck.
A woman of deep faith, June was an avid reader of the Bible and remained active in her church communities at St. John and Royal Redeemer.
Those who knew June will remember her strong spirit, unwavering faith, welcoming smile, and the love she poured into everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the strong and loving family she nurtured and the countless lives she touched through service, friendship, food and faith.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
All services on Sunday. A gathering will be held from 1-4pm with a service of remembrance to follow at 4pm. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
