June Ann Helms' Obituary
June Ann (Meyer) Helms, born June 25, 1931, passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2021 after a courageous year long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her husband Earl Elroy Helms (December 17, 1993), she is survived by her children Allen (Maureen) Helms, Judy (Christopher) Longhenry, Barbara (William) Boyer, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason) Ozias, Elizabeth June and Makenzie; Amanda (Adam) Bednar, Jacob Gore; Timothy (Heidi) Helms, Ashley, Maximus, Alexander and Michael; Aaron (Stephanie) Boyer, Chase; Ryan (Kristin) Longhenry, Everly and Sadie June; Nicole (Ryan) Kolman. She was a faithful member of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Royalton, Ohio for 60 plus years, proudly serving on the Altar Guild for many of those years.
Arrangements are being handled by Jardine Funeral Home, Strongsville, Ohio. Family will receive friends for visitation at the church, 11680 Royalton Road, on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., funeral service at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Hope Memorial Gardens, Route 303, Hinckley, Ohio. Please note that masks are required by the church while inside for the visitation and service.
The family is extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many wonderful friends, doctors, nurses and aids over this past challenging year.
