I remember when one of the students at CIDMA did not have enough money to buy a coat, gloves and other winter items. Julie with her heart as big and warm as the sun, reached into her pocket and purchased a much needed coat for this student. She cared very much for the students at CIDMA and she loved everyone she met. We called each other sister's from another mother. I have had the pleasure of knowing her for more than 20 plus years and my heart is saddened but I am overwhelmed with joy knowing she is at peace and with those she loved that have gone before her. I will sorely miss you Julie and I will think of you and the fond memories I have of you often. See you soon!
My heart is broken. I worked with Julie for a few months this year. I can still remember her sweet smile and kind nature. I’ll miss our phone calls after work and laughing over the silliest things. We shared a deep love for Christ and prayed for eachother and for the less fortunate quite often. Julie always wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and she did. She brought a smile to many. It was so sad to hear of Julie's passing. Julie was a friend and co-worker who always had a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen. Julie will be dearly missed by so many people who loved her. We lost a wonderful person, but Heaven gained a beautiful angel.
