Judith "Judy" Ann Mott's Obituary
Judith “Judy” Ann Mott, 82, passed away on December 11, 2023.
She was born on April 19, 1941, to the late Augustine and Elenora (nee Gerhart) Schmitz in Cleveland, Ohio.
She graduated from Magnificat High School in Rocky River, Ohio. Judy married Thomas Mott on February 9, 1963. They have been married for 60 years.
Judy cared for for her family and spent her years as a stay-at-home mother for her husband and 3 children. She volunteered at Southwest General Hospital for over 20 years. Judy loved her family dearly as well as traveling with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Thomas Mott, she is survived by her children Daniel (Patricia) Mott, Stephen (Denice) Mott, and Sandra (Michael) Schiess; grandchildren Kevin (Ashley) Mott, Andrea Mott, Hannah (Conner) Mott- Robinson, John “Jack” Mott, Samantha Schiess, and Rachael Schiess; two great grandchildren; and sister in laws Sharon Schmitz and Gloria Schmitz.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Richard (Coletta) Schmitz, Joan (Joe) Cachat, Bro. David Schmitz S.M., Paul Schmitz, and Thomas Schmitz.
VISITATION will be held on SUNDAY, December 17 from 2pm – 5pm at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on MONDAY, December 18th at 10am at ST. JOHN NEUMANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
